Are we having fun yet? Great! This week, you are invited to start outlining a personalized practice routine. Your routine should be fun, too.
Practicing daily (or as often as you are able) is the best way to reinforce and stabilize any new skill. Your body’s ability to make resonance is no different than any other sport or craft skill.
You will get in the habit of practicing vocal resonance more easily if you have a personal routine. That is: a sequence of your favourite (or most effective) exercises, noises and games, in a logical order, of a reasonable length, covering all the areas that need to be covered.
On a good day, it is fun to improvise warm-ups. On an ordinary or busy day, it is really nice to have a routine to follow.

Please be seated on a firm chair or stool. Wear clothing that allows you to bend and stretch. It’s best not to eat too heavily before this or any voice session; but do have water or a warm drink available to sip. As always, your questions on voice production and vocal musicianship are most welcome.
