Expanding our portfolio of whole body stretches

Many of you may enjoy working with the “Scream,” the “Witchy smile/cackle” and “Designer Yawn.” (Which one is your favourite?)

My own approach to vocal instrument mobility has recently been influenced by larynx-specific stretches. If you attended the last two sessions, thanks for helping me learn how to work with these.

This week i’d like to review our entire portfolio of vocalist-specific stretches, and their possible uses. Yes, we will go below the neck!

Please be seated on a firm chair or stool. Wear clothing that allows you to bend and stretch. It’s best not to eat too heavily before this voice session; but do have water or a warm drink available to sip.

Social time begins at 18:30, workshop 19:00 to 20:30.
